About The Position
The B. F. Saul Company, with a history dating back to 1931, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its luxury property, The Waycroft, in Arlington, VA. This role is under the direction of the Chief Engineer and is responsible for maintaining the property and providing superior customer service to residents. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, property maintenance, problem-solving, and a willingness to learn and grow in their engineering career.
Requirements
- Three to five (3-5) years of engineering experience.
- Strong customer service skills.
- High school diploma.
- Ability to lift (60 lbs.) and safely move appliances.
- Comfortable working with heights up to 25 feet.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in multifamily or hospitality environments preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the Chief Engineer in maintaining the property.
- Processing all resident service requests in a timely manner.
- Performing preventative maintenance duties and unit inspections.
- Troubleshooting and repairing HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and painting.
- Performing apartment turnovers and renovations.
