About The Position

The Maintenance Ambassador Supervisor is responsible for fostering a sense of community by offering an unparalleled living experience for residents and providing excellence in customer service. This role involves maintaining the physical appearance and upkeep of the community, addressing residents' day-to-day maintenance needs within their apartment homes, and performing corrective, preventative, and emergency maintenance throughout the community. The supervisor ensures the safe and satisfactory operation of apartment appliances, performs plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and floor repairs, assists with apartment turnover preparation, and services community equipment and HVAC systems. Additionally, the Maintenance Ambassador Supervisor manages the maintenance team, assesses their strengths and weaknesses, manages employee incentives, and cultivates a sense of community with a focus on customer service standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years maintenance experience with individual HVAC repair and preventative maintenance of individual or central plant equipment, appliance, plumbing, and electrical systems and repairs, fire safety equipment and repairs, supervision and preparation of apartment turnovers and flooring installations.
  • Ability to oversee and perform all maintenance repairs and duties independently, professionally and in a timely manner.
  • Previous supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to supervise maintenance personnel.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, scheduling, and delegation skills.
  • Exceptional leadership/supervisory and personnel development skills.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, transportation to respond to emergency calls, and proof of motor vehicle insurance.

  • Initiative and motivation to continue training to develop skills, preferred, (i.e. license and certifications).
  • CFC - Type 2 may be required.

Responsibilities
