About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and coordinate daily maintenance operations for a high-rise Multi-Family residential property. This role involves performing and/or delegating skilled repairs in plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, appliances, and general building maintenance. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot complex issues, develop and manage a preventative maintenance program, and provide leadership during on-call rotations for emergency response. This is a skilled maintenance leadership position, not a janitorial role.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • HVAC, EPA Universal Certification REQUIRED
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Minimum 3–5 years of residential maintenance experience
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems.
  • Proven leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic computer skills for reporting, scheduling, and communication.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate daily maintenance operations for a high-rise Multi-Family residential property.
  • Perform and/or delegate skilled repairs in plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, appliances, and general building maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and ensure timely, high-quality completion of all repairs.
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive preventative maintenance program to ensure all building systems operate safely and efficiently.
  • Schedule inspections and coordinate equipment upgrades or replacements to maintain compliance with safety and energy standards.
  • Provide leadership during on-call rotations and respond to escalated maintenance emergencies (leaks, outages, HVAC failures).
  • Direct staff and vendors to ensure swift resolution of critical issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and inventory.
  • Monitor expenses, assist with budgeting, and report maintenance metrics to management.
  • Ensure professional and timely communication with residents regarding service requests and building updates.
  • Resolve escalated concerns and ensure a high level of resident satisfaction.
  • Enforce compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and health standards.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.
