About The Position

Delaware County Supply is hiring a Residential Inside Sales Representative to help homeowners, contractors, and builders find suitable architectural building materials for their projects. The role involves providing product guidance, generating revenue through sales and relationship building, processing orders, coordinating timely delivery with internal teams, and resolving customer concerns. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a half-day Saturday rotation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the building materials or construction industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage a high volume of inquiries and orders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist homeowners, contractors, and builders with product inquiries and provide expert guidance.
• Identify sales opportunities, upsell products, and build lasting customer relationships.
• Process orders accurately and efficiently, coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Stay informed about product offerings and provide tailored recommendations.
• Address customer concerns professionally and with a solutions-focused approach.
