About The Position

Bullman Heating & Air, a NearU Company, is seeking an experienced, customer-focused Residential HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems while delivering high-quality service and customer satisfaction. The technician will also prepare accurate repair estimates, explain products and maintenance needs to customers, perform routine system maintenance, and mentor junior technicians. The role involves rotating on-call shifts, occasional overtime, and weekend work. Requirements

At least 5 years of HVAC service experience.
EPA Certification or willingness to obtain it immediately.
Ability to regularly lift 50–100 lbs.
Comfort working in attics, crawl spaces, on ladders, and outdoors.
Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
Positive, team-oriented attitude and ability to build strong relationships.
Eagerness to learn and stay current with evolving HVAC technology.
Valid driver's license with a safe driving record; a recent DMV record is required.
Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems.
Create accurate repair estimates for customers.
Educate customers on HVAC products, services, and maintenance needs.
Perform routine maintenance on heating and cooling systems.
Mentor and train junior technicians.
Maintain clear and professional communication with clients and team members.
Follow local codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Participate in rotating on-call shifts, occasional overtime, and weekend work.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
