About The Position

Bullman Heating & Air, a NearU Company, is seeking an experienced, customer-focused Residential HVAC Service Technician. The technician diagnoses, repairs, and maintains residential and light commercial HVAC systems while providing high-quality service and supporting customer satisfaction. The role includes mentoring junior technicians and participating in rotating on-call shifts, occasional overtime, and weekend work.

Requirements

At least 5 years of HVAC service experience.
EPA Certification, or willingness to obtain it immediately.
Ability to regularly lift 50–100 lbs.
Comfort working in attics, crawl spaces, on ladders, and outdoors.
Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
Positive, team-oriented attitude and ability to build strong relationships.
Eagerness to learn and stay current with evolving HVAC technology.
Valid driver’s license and safe driving record; recent DMV record required.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems.
Create accurate repair estimates for customers.
Educate customers on HVAC products, services, and maintenance needs.
Perform routine maintenance on heating and cooling systems.
Mentor and train junior technicians.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and team members.
Follow local codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Participate in rotating on-call shifts, occasional overtime, and weekend work.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
