About The Position

Service and repair residential heating and cooling systems in customers’ homes. Diagnose problems, identify service needs, quote prices, recommend solutions, complete quoted repairs, and provide excellent customer service. The role also involves troubleshooting a variety of residential HVAC systems and installing indoor air quality products according to manufacturer specifications and applicable codes. Employees are expected to attend training to expand their knowledge and pursue further certifications. The position includes on-call and backup assignments, required staff meetings and training, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• EPA certification.
• Experience in residential HVAC service and sales.
• Ability to learn to determine residential HVAC service needs, quote prices, and perform repairs.
• Ability to communicate and interact effectively with customers in their homes and businesses.
• Understanding of residential heating and cooling equipment operation, indoor air quality (IAQ), air distribution systems, and basic repairs of HVAC appliances and fixtures.
• Ability to learn to troubleshoot and repair a variety of residential HVAC systems and install supporting IAQ products according to manufacturer specifications and applicable codes.
• Ability to lift and maneuver equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to crawl, climb, kneel, squat, bend, reach overhead, and climb and work on ladders.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to pass drug testing and background checks and hold a valid driver's license.
