About The Position

Florida Home Air Conditioning, in partnership with American Residential Services (ARS), is seeking a Residential HVAC Lead Install Mechanic. ARS is the largest provider of residential HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical services in the U.S., employing over 7,000 professionals nationwide. With over 45 years of experience, they deliver top-quality service to customers daily. This is a full-time, year-round position offering regular work with great pay.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–4 years of Residential HVAC installation experience.
• Comfortable leading install crews with assigned helper.
• EPA certification required.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and access crawl spaces and attics.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and remove outdated HVAC systems.
• Install, Start up and test HVAC systems to verify proper function, pressures, and air flow.
• Train and support assigned apprentices on the job.
• Ensure all installations meet safety codes, local regulations, and company quality standards.
