About The Position

Carolina Heating is hiring a Residential HVAC Install Assistant to support residential and light commercial installation projects in the Greenville, SC area. The role is suited to someone who is dependable, eager to learn the HVAC trade, and takes pride in quality work. It offers hands-on training and mentorship from experienced installers as an opportunity to build a long-term career in HVAC. The assistant supports lead installers with equipment setup, material handling, and jobsite preparation; helps install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and related components; and helps maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite. The position requires physical work in varied environments, including attics, crawlspaces, rooftops, and outdoors. Carolina Heating describes a growth path to Installer, Lead Installer, and beyond.

Requirements

Interest in learning the HVAC trade; prior experience is a plus but is not required.
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in attics, crawlspaces, rooftops, and outdoor conditions.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Strong work ethic, dependability, and a team-first mindset.
Ability to follow instructions and work well with others.

Prior HVAC experience.
