About The Position

Heartland Home Service is seeking a skilled Residential Heating & Cooling HVAC Service Technician. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent customer service and communication skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality, organized work. This role requires the ability to work efficiently in various weather conditions, including the Michigan cold and heat, and involves physical tasks such as climbing in and out of box trucks and lifting over 75lbs. A positive attitude, exceptional teamwork, and a goal-oriented mindset are essential. Candidates must be willing to travel occasionally and reside within 45 minutes of Kalamazoo. Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years of residential HVAC experience.
• Skills in customer service and communication.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to produce neat, clean, and tidy work.
• Ability to be quick, efficient, and organized.
• No visible tattoos; they must be covered at work (e.g., long sleeves).
• Exceptional team player; fun, energetic, goal-oriented, optimistic.
• Ability to climb in and out of box trucks.
• Ability to lift over 75lbs.
• Ability to work in the Michigan cold and heat.
• Must live within 45 minutes of Kalamazoo.
• Willingness to travel to other areas from time to time based upon company workload.
• Ability to pass the state of Michigan and national background and drug test.
• Must have a clean driving record and a current driver's license.
