About The Position

AFConnect Fiber, a CentraCom company, provides high-speed internet, including fiber-to-the-home services of up to 1 Gb. The Residential Fiber Technician installs internet service for new customers, troubleshoots existing customer connections, installs new internet infrastructure, and maintains and repairs existing infrastructure. The technician works with Cat5/6, coaxial, and fiber cables, as well as related switches and other network equipment. No prior experience is necessary; training can be provided. The position is based in person in American Fork, Utah, and requires living within a 30-minute commute of American Fork.

Requirements

• Live within a 30-minute commute of American Fork city.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to carry and climb ladders.
• Able to work outside year-round.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Polite and courteous demeanor.
• Good problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
