About The Position

This role involves acting as a local on-site program and company representative to residential customers. The individual will install energy-efficient equipment, conduct energy efficiency assessments and audits, and perform other technical data gathering activities within a defined territory. Responsibilities include providing technical advice, guidance, and training on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement in accordance with building science and program specifications, troubleshooting technical problems, and recommending solutions. The goal is to provide an excellent customer experience while motivating customers to adopt energy-efficient measures to improve their home.

Requirements

  • 0-1 year of relevant industry experience
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must hold a valid driver's license
  • Must pass pre-employment checks
  • Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located without the need for employer sponsorship or support

Nice To Haves

  • Associates Degree preferred
  • BPI Certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Install energy-efficient equipment
  • Conduct energy efficiency assessments and audits
  • Perform other technical data gathering activities through a defined territory
  • Provide technical advice, guidance, and training on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement in accordance with building science and program specifications
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and recommend solutions
  • Provide an excellent customer experience while motivating customers to adopt energy-efficient measures to improve their home
  • Record inspection results, customer and contractor interactions to adhere to program requirements
  • Provide input and status updates to program staff
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and issues in accordance with client specifications
  • Act as local, on-site program and company representative to customers and contractors; to encourage participation in the program and overcome barriers
  • Travel throughout a defined territory
