We are looking for a talented individual… To join our team as a Residential Energy Auditor! You will act as a local on-site program and company representative to residential customers. You will install energy-efficient equipment, conduct energy efficiency assessments and audits as well as other technical data gathering activities through a defined territory. You will provide technical advice, guidance, and training on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement in accordance with building science and program specifications. You will troubleshoot technical problems and recommend solutions. And, you will provide an excellent customer experience while motivating customers to adopt energy-efficient measures to improve their home. Requirements

  • 0-1 year of relevant industry experience
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Applicants for driving positions must hold a valid driver's license
  • Individuals provided a conditional offer of employment must successfully pass a drug test and maintain a clean driving record as an ongoing requirement for continued employment.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located without the need for employer sponsorship or support.
  • Successful hires must pass pre-employment checks.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates Degree preferred
  • BPI Certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct residential energy audits.
  • Install energy-efficient equipment.
  • Conduct energy efficiency assessments and audits as well as other technical data gathering activities through a defined territory.
  • Provide technical advice, guidance, and training on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement in accordance with building science and program specifications.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and recommend solutions.
  • Provide an excellent customer experience while motivating customers to adopt energy-efficient measures to improve their home.
  • Record inspection results, customer and contractor interactions to adhere to program requirements.
  • Provide input and status updates to program staff.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and issues in accordance with client specifications.
  • Act as local, on-site program and company representative to customers and contractors; to encourage participation in the program and overcome barriers.
  • Travel throughout a defined territory.
