About The Position

CLEAResult is seeking a Residential Energy Auditor to join their team. This role involves acting as a local on-site representative to residential customers, installing energy-efficient equipment, conducting energy efficiency audits, and performing pre- and post-installation verifications. The position also includes gathering technical data within a defined territory and supporting Program Managers in promoting energy efficiency retrofits and services. The role requires providing technical advice, guidance, and training on installations, as well as troubleshooting technical problems and recommending solutions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations (if applicable).
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located without the need for employer sponsorship or support.
  • Successful hires must pass pre-employment checks.

Nice To Haves

  • 6 months - 1 year of relative industry experience (preferred)
  • Customer-service focus and strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Act as a local on-site program and company representative to residential customers.
  • Install energy efficient equipment.
  • Conduct energy efficiency (re)audits.
  • Perform pre- and post-installation verifications.
  • Gather other technical data activities through a defined territory.
  • Support Program Managers in their efforts to influence stakeholders to sell and/or install energy efficiency and demand response retrofits or services.
  • Provide technical advice, guidance and training on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement in accordance with client specifications.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and issues, and recommends solutions.
  • Install smart (wifi-enabled) thermostats and assist customers in app-based program enrollment.
  • Provide emergency/support services to demand response customers.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and issues, regarding installation in accordance with client specifications.
  • Encourage participation in the program and overcome barriers.
  • Travel throughout a defined territory.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews and residential energy audits (on-site verifications and electronic review of field data entered into program database).
  • Provide input and status updates to program staff regarding project scope, planning and effectiveness of products.
  • Provide technical expertise to identify, analyze and resolve issues.
