We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as an Residential Energy Auditor. You will act as a local on-site program and company representative to residential customers. Install energy efficient equipment, conduct energy efficiency (re)audits, pre- and post-installation verifications and other technical data gathering activities through a defined territory. Support Program Managers in their efforts to influence stakeholders to sell and/or install energy efficiency and demand response retrofits or services. Provides technical advice, guidance and training on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement in accordance with client specifications. Requirements

  • Customer-service focus and strong interpersonal skills
  • High school diploma required
  • If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located without the need for employer sponsorship or support.
  • Successful hires must pass pre-employment checks.

Nice To Haves

  • 6 months - 1 year of relative industry experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Install energy efficient equipment, conduct energy efficiency (re)audits, pre- and post-installation verifications and other technical data gathering activities through a defined territory.
  • Support Program Managers in their efforts to influence stakeholders to sell and/or install energy efficiency and demand response retrofits or services.
  • Provides technical advice, guidance and training on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement in accordance with client specifications.
  • Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, and recommends solutions.
  • Install smart (wifi-enabled) thermostats and assist customer in app-based program enrollment.
  • Provide emergency/support services to demand response customers.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and issues, regarding installation in accordance with client specifications.
  • Act as a local, on-site program and company representative to customers; encourage participation in the program and overcome barriers.
  • Travel throughout a defined territory.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews and residential energy audits (on-site verifications and electronic review of field data entered into program database).
  • Provide input and status updates to program staff regarding project scope, planning and effectiveness of products.
  • Provide technical expertise to identify, analyze and resolve issues.
