About The Position

R&R Electric is seeking an experienced Residential Electrician for high-end residential construction, remodeling, and electrical service work in Pompano Beach, Florida. The role involves working in luxury homes and custom residential projects, including new construction, renovations, and service calls. The electrician must be able to work independently, troubleshoot electrical issues, interpret plans, and complete installations and repairs while maintaining high-quality workmanship and customer service.

Requirements

3–5 years of residential electrical experience.
Experience in high-end residential construction and custom homes.
Strong background in residential remodeling, renovations, and electrical service.
Extensive knowledge of residential electrical systems, wiring, panels, and troubleshooting.
Experience with custom lighting installations and electrical upgrades.
Ability to read blueprints and work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong understanding of NEC and Florida electrical codes.
Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to maintain high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.
Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

Florida electrical journeyman registration or certification, where applicable.
Experience working in luxury homes and high-end residential properties.
Experience with smart home electrical systems, lighting controls, and home automation.
Experience coordinating electrical work with custom home builders and remodeling contractors.
Strong electrical service and diagnostic experience.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in high-end residential homes.
Complete electrical work for new construction, custom homes, renovations, and remodeling projects.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential electrical systems.
Install and upgrade electrical panels, circuits, wiring, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
Install high-end lighting, recessed lighting, decorative fixtures, and specialty electrical systems.
Perform electrical service calls, repairs, and system upgrades.
Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and construction plans.
Work closely with general contractors, builders, homeowners, and other trades.
Ensure electrical work meets NEC, Florida Building Code, and local safety requirements.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Deliver professional customer service, particularly in occupied luxury homes.
