Residential Electrician - WA 02 Administrator/Journeyman
About The Position
One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning of Seattle is a locally owned and operated HVAC company serving King and Snohomish Counties. We're part of the Authority Brands family, but we run like the small, owner-led shop we are: no private equity, no corner-cutting, no pressure selling. Our philosophy is simple. Do it right, the first time, every time. We're growing fast and adding electrical capability to support our heat pump, furnace, and air conditioning installs. We're looking for a licensed electrician who wants to help build that side of the business from the ground up. This position has two parts: 02 Electrical Administrator. You'll serve as the company's designated Residential (02) Electrical Administrator with L&I, overseeing code compliance, permits, and inspections for our residential electrical work. 02 Journeyman. You'll be in the field doing the work, primarily supporting HVAC installs.
Requirements
- Current Washington 02 Residential Electrical Administrator certificate (required)
- Current Washington 02 Residential Specialty Electrician certificate, or 01 Journeyman (required)
- Solid working knowledge of the NEC and Washington amendments
- Residential service and panel experience
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Professional, respectful demeanor in customers' homes
- Pride in clean, code-compliant, well-documented work
Nice To Haves
- HVAC-related electrical experience is a big plus
Responsibilities
- Run dedicated circuits, disconnects, and whips for heat pumps, air handlers, furnaces, and condensers
- Perform panel upgrades, service changes, and load calculations to support electrification projects
- Pull permits and coordinate L&I inspections
- Troubleshoot electrical issues on residential HVAC systems alongside our service and install teams
- Help mentor our install crew and apprentices on electrical best practices
- Keep job documentation clean and complete in ServiceTitan
