About The Position
RiseWell Community Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated part-time Rehabilitative Associate to provide supportive counseling, restorative services, and crisis intervention to people with psychiatric disabilities in a transitional licensed residential program in Brentwood, New York. The position is 20 hours per week, scheduled Sunday and Monday from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Requirements
- High school diploma and one year of experience working with persons with psychiatric disabilities, or a bachelor's degree in Human Services.
- Clean, valid New York State driver's license.
- Must complete fingerprinting and a criminal record check and obtain approval from the New York State Office of Mental Health.
Responsibilities
- Provide supportive counseling to people with psychiatric disabilities.
- Provide restorative services.
- Provide crisis intervention in a transitional licensed residential program.
