About The Position

RFK Community Alliance is seeking compassionate and dedicated Residential Counselors/Direct Care Support Professionals (DSPs) to work with children and adolescents experiencing mental health challenges in a group home setting in Lancaster, Massachusetts. DSPs provide daily support, encourage independence, and help residents develop the skills and confidence to reach personal goals. The work includes assisting with daily activities and providing emotional support and therapeutic guidance. No prior human services experience is required. Comprehensive training is provided. The role offers the opportunity to gain human services experience and explore career growth, including potential advancement into supervisory roles. This is a per diem position with openings for first shift (7 a.m.–3 p.m.), second shift (2 p.m.–10 p.m.), and awake overnight shift (10 p.m.–8 a.m.). Pay is $20.00–$21.25 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Genuine desire to support children and adolescents and help them succeed.
Willingness to learn and participate in comprehensive training.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
