About The Position

RFK Community Alliance is hiring a compassionate and dedicated Residential Counselor/Direct Care Support Professional (DSP) to work with children and adolescents experiencing mental health challenges in a group home setting in Lancaster, Massachusetts. The role provides daily support, encourages independence, and helps residents develop skills and confidence to work toward personal goals. Support includes assistance with daily activities, emotional support, and therapeutic guidance. No prior human services experience is required. Comprehensive training is provided. The position offers the opportunity to gain human services experience and may provide career growth, including potential advancement into supervisory roles. Open shifts are 7 a.m.–3 p.m., 2 p.m.–10 p.m., and 10 p.m.–8 a.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Genuine desire to support children and adolescents and help them succeed.
Willingness to learn and participate in comprehensive training.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
