Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Possess a HS Diploma or GED.
Ability to read, write and speak English.
Ability to adhere to an assigned schedule.
Ability to create and maintain a positive, healthy, cheerful, sense of acceptance and social belonging to our residents.
Compassion, sensitivity and understanding for individuals suffering from mental illness and substance abuse.
Good writing skills/experience with documentation.
Have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Must be able to pass a comprehensive criminal background check through the NYS Department of Health.

Responsibilities

Coordination of resident care at our Mental Health Adult Care Facility.
Mastering and executing medication procedures on a daily basis, and ensuring all other staff are following proper medication procedures.
Scheduling, executing, and following up on all resident psychiatric and medical appointments.
Assisting residents with personal care as needed.
Being kind, respectful and in tune with resident needs.
