The Systems Administrator is responsible for the provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of enterprise system hardware, software, and related infrastructure. This position ensures the reliability, security, and performance of server and network environments to support institutional operations. The role includes managing core services, maintaining system integrity, supporting enterprise applications, and ensuring compliance with applicable policies and standards. The Systems Administrator also monitors system performance, implements security protocols, and provides technical support to maintain stable and efficient IT services across the organization. The Systems Administrator maintains and supports servers (hardware and software), cloud platforms, and virtual environments, ensuring reliable performance and availability or enterprise systems, including Colleague ERP. This role monitors and maintains systems such as Microsoft Active Directory, Windows and Linus servers, Office 365, Exchange, SharePoint, Azure, AWS, and learning management systems (e.g., Canvas), while performing system update, backups, and security measures to protect institutional data. Responsibilities include responding to incidents and service requests through the ServiceNow ticketing system, maintaining accurate documentation, following established procedures, and supporting core network and communication services to ensure operational continuity across the organization.
