About The Position

Lifesteps is hiring a full-time Residential Aide (Daylight Caregiver) in the Monroeville, Pennsylvania area. Lifesteps is a nonprofit human services organization serving Western Pennsylvania and providing programs and services to help individuals with special needs live to their fullest potential.

The Residential Aide provides quality care while treating each individual with respect and dignity. The role supports individuals in learning to live and function as independently as possible in their home and community. This full-time position works daylight shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift 200 pounds with assistance.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience as a Home Health Aide, Nurses Aide, or Direct Support Professional is helpful but not required.
