About The Position

Zionsville Meadows is seeking a dependable and friendly Resident Transportation Driver to provide safe transportation for residents to medical appointments, community outings, activities, and other destinations. The driver assists residents getting on and off the bus, including those using wheelchairs or other mobility devices, and operates accessibility and transportation equipment safely.

The role also involves coordinating resident pick-ups and drop-offs with the Bethany Village team, maintaining the bus, completing routine safety checks, and reporting maintenance needs. The driver may assist the Activities team with outings and events and is expected to provide residents with a friendly, respectful, and supportive travel experience. The posting describes the opportunity as full-time day shift and also notes part-time weekday and Saturday availability.

Requirements

• Must be at least 25 years of age.
• Current driver's license in good standing.
• High school diploma/GED, related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, outings, activities, and other community destinations.
• Assist residents safely on and off the bus, including residents who use wheelchairs or other mobility devices.
• Safely operate wheelchair ramps, lifts, tie-downs, and other transportation equipment.
• Coordinate resident drop-offs and pick-ups with the Bethany Village team.
• Keep the bus clean, fueled, organized, and ready for transportation.
• Complete routine vehicle safety checks and report maintenance or repair needs.
• Assist the Activities team with resident outings, events, and activities as needed.
• Provide a friendly, respectful, and supportive experience for residents while traveling.
