About The Position

We are hiring a Full-Time Driver / Driver/ Maintenance Assistant / Activities to join our senior living community in Williamsburg, VA! Your primary responsibility will be safely transporting residents to appointments, shopping trips, outings, and community events. When you're not driving, you'll assist with light maintenance tasks and occasionally support our Activities team. If you're dependable, friendly, and enjoy working with seniors, we'd love to meet you!

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required
Must meet applicable background screening and company Drug-Free Workplace requirements
CDL required only if applicable to the vehicle being operated

Nice To Haves

Previous driving or transportation experience preferred
Experience working with seniors is a plus
Basic handyman or maintenance skills helpful, but not required
Friendly, patient, dependable, and safety-conscious
Comfortable assisting residents with mobility needs

Responsibilities

Safely transport residents to medical appointments, shopping, errands, and community outings
Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle safely
Help with walkers, bags, and personal belongings as needed
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable community vehicle
Perform routine vehicle safety checks and report concerns
Help coordinate daily transportation schedules
Provide friendly, dependable service to residents
Minor repairs, painting, and general building upkeep
Basic maintenance and groundskeeping projects
Setting up furniture and equipment for events
Assisting with resident activities, outings, and special events
Supporting the Maintenance Director and Activities team as needed
