Manages the referral and admission process for all Welsh Mountain admissions. Develops relationships and maintains regular contact with referral sources to obtain a regular flow of admissions. Demonstrates understanding of the mission and private pay vs subsidized residents. Serves as a resident advocate to obtain coverage for services that are appropriate. Communicates with residents, family members and staff regarding referrals and admissions. Has the ability to be flexible and to adapt to working in a fast-paced environment. Direct face to face marketing efforts, with referral sources, to keep census at or above 95% occupancy and facilitate new admissions Responsible for coordinating all non-medical resident related services including the coordination of admissions for all departments (Personal Care, Facilities, Dining and Finance) Responsible for providing backup PCHA services Keep payer mix at minimum of 50/50 PP vs subsidized Coordinate email blasts with Landis Communities team Establish and maintain relationships with residents’ families and power of attorneys Maintain PCHA license in order to provide back-up services in the absence of Executive Director Participate in on-call rotation and provide coverage for PCA’s and Med Tech’s as needed Manage and oversee implementation of activities calendar and collaborate with PCA’s for activity ideas Responsible for providing transportation and supervision on resident outings Coordinate with Director of Wellness to assure all activities are implemented by PCA’s
