About The Position

We are looking for our next amazing Resident Services/Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic, compassionate team at our award-winning senior living community. Nestled under the pines and set along the Deschutes river on the west side of town, Touchmark at Mt. Bachelor Village offers an inviting work environment and supportive leadership. The front desk is the heartbeat of our community – it’s the place where residents and guests stop by to find out what is on the calendar of events for the day, to check on a package they’re expecting to receive, to have their dog taken for a walk or flowers watered, to let us know if they have a maintenance issue in their home, or just to lean on the counter and chit-chat about their day.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office.
  • Professional and polite phone etiquette.
  • Organized, detail-conscious, and self-initiating.
  • Outgoing, warm, friendly personality.
  • Genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment.
  • Commitment to a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Able to walk long distances, climb stairs and lift heavy objects.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Respect the confidentiality of all resident's and staff information and records.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact at the front desk, assisting residents and guests.
  • Provide information on daily events and community activities.
  • Manage package deliveries and notifications.
  • Assist with resident requests such as dog walking or plant watering.
  • Receive and log maintenance requests from residents.
  • Engage in friendly conversation and build rapport with residents.
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality regarding resident and staff information.
  • Provide security detail for the property.
  • Answer calls on a multi-line phone system professionally.
  • Cross-train on other shifts to support the community.
  • Work independently.
