About The Position

Seldin Company is seeking an Apartment Resident Service Coordinator for The Kellom apartment communities in Omaha, NE. This is an affordable property group with 251 units. This position will pay up to $20.00 an hour, determined by experience, certifications, skills, and education. The Resident Services Coordinator will build solid resident relationships and promote successful residencies by providing supportive services and aiding the site team in achieving excellent customer service experiences for prospective residents who are seeking a new home, as well as providing services for the existing residents. This role assists residents in achieving independence and self-sufficiency in accessing services and resources by identifying community needs and making resource information available to residents. The Resident Service Coordinator will serve the site as an active team member supporting aspects of field-level property management, working collaboratively with the staff to meet the property needs and resolve resident concerns in accordance with Seldin Company policy and procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years experience in community organizing or social work; or a combination of education and experience
  • Ability to work independently and engage a broad spectrum of community members in planning efforts
  • Ability to work nights and weekends for community events as needed
  • General office skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft, outlook, and the ability to generate community newsletters, fliers, and correspondences

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience in community organizing, social work, or relative support services; or a combination of education and experience
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to organize and facilitate community events, presentation, and meetings

Responsibilities
