About The Position

Jefferson Apartment Group is seeking a Resident Relations Manager to join their team at J Vue at the LMA Apartments. This role is crucial for ensuring exceptional resident satisfaction and fostering a positive community environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, organization, management, and people skills. J Vue is a 20-story, 289-unit high-rise apartment building located in Boston’s Longwood Medical and Academic Area.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of multifamily property management experience required.
High School Diploma and professional knowledge of business discipline are required.
Always represents the company in a professional manner.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as an Assistant Community Manager is preferred.
General knowledge of community budgeting and proficiency with property management software; RealPage/Onesite experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assists with property and office administration including reporting, managing lease files, audits, and renewals.
Assists with posting rents, daily deposits, and managing delinquency through effective rent collections.
Ensures residents abide by community rules and policies.
Responds to current resident requests for information.
Builds and maintains strong relationships with residents through proactive communication, community events, and personalized interactions.
Addresses resident concerns, complaints, and requests in a timely and empathetic manner, striving for swift resolution and customer satisfaction.
Develops strategies to promote lease renewals and enhance resident retention rates through personalized outreach and incentives.
Plans and executes community events, activities, and initiatives to foster a sense of belonging and enhance the overall living experience for residents.
Implements feedback mechanisms to gather insights from residents and utilize data to continuously improve services and amenities.
Collaborates with property management, maintenance teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and exceptional resident experiences.
Leases and markets vacant and upcoming units.
Walks apartments and reports all necessary issues.
Assists in conducting market surveys and shopping competitive properties.
Assists in developing marketing strategies and campaigns to attract prospective residents and promote the unique features and benefits of our properties.
