About The Position

A resident pharmacist provides competent and compassionate patient care by working effectively as a member of the healthcare team. The resident will meet the educational goals according the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists' standards, as well as abide by the institution specific regulations. Teaching and mentoring pharmacy students, co-residents, and other multi-disciplinary colleagues allow for opportunities to develop life-long learning skills.

Requirements

  • Doctorate in Pharmacy is required.
  • Competent in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients.
  • Licensed Pharmacist in state of practice is required or obtained within 120 days.
  • IL: If not currently licensed as a Pharmacist in state of practice, then required to be licensed/registered as a Pharmacy Intern or as a Pharmacy Technician in state of practice. May work in a Pharmacy Technician license pending status for up to 60 days.
  • WI: Eligible for Pharmacist licensure in state of practice.
