About The Position

Since our opening in 1987, New Hope Treatment Centers has been a welcoming place for young people in moments of crisis. The Residential Performance Specialist is responsible for supporting residential staff in enhancing performance and service delivery, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and promoting continuous professional development. Key responsibilities include monitoring staff performance, conducting audits, assisting with staff training, and coaching in crisis management. This role also involves collaborating with clinical, administrative, and management teams to improve the quality of care for adolescent residents and ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulatory policies. The position requires strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to assess and improve staff practices.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in documentation, data collection, and reporting software.
  • Ability to pass required background checks, drug screening, and any state-mandated employment clearances.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in performance improvement, quality assurance, or data analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Model professional standards and therapeutic practices.
  • Collaborate with residential staff to identify and implement performance improvement strategies.
  • Conduct routine floor observations across shift to maintain visibility in the residential community to assess milieu effectiveness and staff engagement
  • Assist in developing and executing performance improvement plans for care delivery, safety, and staff engagement.
  • Conduct audits and track performance metrics, providing recommendations for improvements.
  • Support staff training on best practices, safety protocols, and performance standards.
  • Monitor compliance with safety protocols and conduct safety audits.
  • Collect data on staff performance, safety incidents, and overall facility outcomes.
  • Foster collaboration across teams to enhance residential treatment experiences.
  • Provide crisis intervention support and assist with de-escalation training.
  • Provide real-time coaching and corrective guidance to direct care staff.
  • Contribute to continuous quality improvement efforts within the facility.
  • Facilitate/ Co-Facilitate onboarding training.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
