For over 25 years, they have been dedicated to the happiness of retirees. This role, internally known as the Associate Health and Wellness Manager, is a 12-month contract covering a maternity leave. It's an opportunity for an experienced nurse to step into a leadership role, working on the floor while learning management skills. The Resident Care Coordinator plays a pivotal role in retirement residences, encompassing clinical leadership and administrative management. Key responsibilities include supervising the nursing department's daily operations, participating in Care Conferences, engaging with residents and families, and assisting with recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, supervising, and evaluating clinical team members. They also oversee compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and proper work practices, while adhering to relevant provincial and federal acts and regulations.
