About The Position

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator supports end‑to‑end recruitment activities, with a strong focus on high‑volume Flight Attendant hiring for Air Canada Rouge. This role supports scheduling, event coordination, candidate communications, and administrative tasks to ensure a smooth and professional candidate experience from application through onboarding.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in recruitment coordination, talent acquisition, or HR administration (high‑volume preferred).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook (shared inboxes, calendars) and strong skills in Excel, Teams, Word, and SharePoint.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Strong communication skills; comfortable engaging candidates one‑on‑one and in group settings.
  • Customer‑focused mindset and commitment to enhancing the candidate experience.
  • Demonstrates strong planning and coordination, professionalism and confidentiality, precise documentation and follow‑through, and a consistently candidate‑centric approach.
  • Ability to work flexible hours during peak recruitment periods including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to travel extensively within Canada including overnight travel.
  • Bilingual (English/French).
  • Post‑secondary education in HR or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate full-cycle mass recruitment for Flight Attendants and other assigned roles, including job postings, screening, scheduling interviews, participating in the interview process, managing pre-employment assessments, reference checks and onboarding.
  • Organize and support high‑volume hiring events: coordination, logistics, catering, communications, facilitation, and post‑event follow‑up.
  • Manage conditional offer requirements such as security checks, references, background screening, medicals, etc.
  • Prepare and distribute recruitment communications, including interview invites, instructions, documentation, and regret notices.
  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers to ensure seamless onboarding.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager, Human Resources
