About The Position

The Resident Care Associate (RCA) provides general, non-certified routine services in accordance with established procedures and may work under the direction of supervisors. The role is intended for candidates interested in pursuing training to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.). The position is located at Scenic Hills at the Monastery in Ferdinand, Indiana.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
• 0–1 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with housekeeping and laundry, including trash removal and making and changing unoccupied beds.
• Assist with meal service, including transporting residents to and from the dining room, delivering trays, and helping ensure a positive dining experience.
• Provide customer service, companionship, and communication to residents by answering call lights promptly, checking in frequently, and helping residents engage in activities.
• Assist with personal care in accordance with state regulatory guidelines.
• Attend and participate in a training program leading to certification as a Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.).
