About The Position

The Resident Care Associate (RCA) provides general, non-certified routine services in accordance with established procedures and as directed by supervisors. The role is intended for candidates interested in pursuing training to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A). The RCA assists with housekeeping and laundry, meal service, resident engagement and communication, and personal care within state regulatory guidelines. The position also includes participation in a training program leading to Nursing Assistant certification.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
• 0–1 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with housekeeping and laundry, including removing trash and making or changing unoccupied beds.
• Assist with meal service, including transporting residents to and from the dining room, delivering trays, and supporting a positive dining experience.
• Provide customer service and companionship to residents, answer call lights promptly, check in with residents frequently, and help them engage in activities.
• Assist with personal care according to state regulatory guidelines.
• Attend and participate in a training program leading to certification as a Nursing Assistant (C.N.A).
