About The Position

The Resident Care Associate (RCA) provides general, non-certified routine services in accordance with established procedures and as directed by supervisors. The position is intended for candidates interested in pursuing training to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A). The role is located at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Delphi, Indiana.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
• 0–1 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with housekeeping and laundry, including trash removal and making or changing unoccupied beds.
• Assist with meal service, including transporting residents to and from the dining room, delivering trays, and helping ensure a positive dining experience.
• Provide customer service, companionship, and communication to residents by answering call lights promptly, checking in with residents frequently, and helping them engage in activities.
• Assist with personal care according to state regulatory guidelines.
• Attend and participate in a training program leading to Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) certification.
