About The Position
Havenwood of Buffalo is hiring a Resident Assistant to provide personal care and support for residents in a senior-living community. The position offers day, evening, and NOC shifts, with work every other weekend. Pay is $20 or more per hour, based on experience, with a $1 per hour differential for the NOC shift.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Compassionate, enthusiastic, and passionate about senior care and hospitality.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience as a CNA, PCA, HHA, or RA.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinence care, foot care, and checking vital signs.
- Assist residents at mealtimes by cutting food, encouraging eating, and supporting a positive dining experience.
- Complete and accurately document shift assignments, and report incomplete tasks to the nursing supervisor.
- Communicate with residents, families, department heads, and the Director of Resident Services.
- Facilitate and engage residents in planned activities.
- Respond promptly to call lights and emergencies.
