Resident Care Assistant
About The Position
Novellus Clairemont in San Diego is hiring full-time Resident Care Assistants (Caregivers) to help residents with daily care needs so they can live with comfort, dignity, and independence. The role works alongside caregivers and nurses in a supportive, team-oriented community. Pay is $18.00–$18.50 per hour, with credit for experience. Day and night shifts are available; weekend and holiday rotations are required. The position is in person at Novellus Clairemont in San Diego, California. Applicants must be able to produce a negative drug test and may be subject to a background check. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English.
- A compassionate, dependable attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Must be able to produce a negative drug test.

Responsibilities
- Help residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Maintain a safe and comfortable environment while respecting residents’ dignity, choices, and independence.
- Watch for changes in residents’ physical or cognitive condition, document care provided, and update nursing staff.
- Support residents with higher care needs, using patience and compassion to promote comfort, engagement, and emotional well-being.
