Resident Assistant- South Hills
About The Position
Juniper Communities is hiring a Resident Assistant to provide physical support that helps residents stay engaged, safe, and independent. The role includes assisting residents with activities of daily living and communicating effectively with team members, residents, and families. The posting offers a full-time 3 pm–11 pm shift and part-time positions across all shifts; applications are accepted for all shifts. Pay is $18.00–$21.00 per hour based on experience and certification, with a shift differential for the 3 pm–11 pm shift. Requirements
- High school education or equivalent is required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
Nice To Haves
- One year of caregiving experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents as needed with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, hair care, shaving, continence management, securing transportation, making and keeping appointments, using the telephone, dining, and attending Juniper programs.
- Check and monitor vital signs as instructed.
- Communicate effectively with other team members, residents, and families.
- Provide excellent customer service.
