About The Position

Sagora Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dependable Resident Assistant to support residents at The Viera, a senior living community. The role focuses on assisting residents with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, mobility, safety, and comfort while preserving their dignity and independence. The community may offer independent living, assisted living, or memory care services. This position is listed as PRN.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with residents, families, and other associates.

Nice To Haves

• CNA certification is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Care for residents’ personal needs, safety, and comfort.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including wardrobe, personal hygiene, and mobility.
• Help with daily tasks such as housekeeping, telephone use, laundry, transportation, and mail delivery.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition and status.
• Conduct rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents.
• Assist with dining by escorting residents to the dining room, serving, and cleaning up.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
