About The Position

Sagora Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dependable Resident Assistant for Lynridge of Waco. The role supports residents in maintaining their well-being, dignity, and independence by helping with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, mobility, safety, and comfort. The position also includes assistance with household and dining tasks, monitoring residents and the community, and reporting changes in residents’ condition. Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with residents, families, and other associates.

Nice To Haves

• CNA certification is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Care for residents’ personal needs, safety, and comfort.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including wardrobe, personal hygiene, and mobility.
• Assist with daily tasks such as housekeeping, telephone use, laundry, transportation, and mail delivery.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition and status.
• Conduct rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents.
• Assist with dining, including escorting residents to the dining room, serving, and cleanup.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
