About The Position

Lutheran Homes & Health Services, an Illuminus Community, provides assisted living, skilled nursing, and short-term rehabilitation services to older adults in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. The Resident Assistant supports residents with daily living activities and promotes a safe, engaging environment. The role includes helping residents with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting, as well as providing emotional support and companionship. Resident Assistants help support residents’ well-being and independence through holistic, resident-centered care.

Requirements

At least 16 years of age.

Nice To Haves

One year of caregiving experience preferred.
CBRF training preferred but not required.
CPR certification preferred.
COVID-19 vaccination preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide resident-centered care according to service plans and direction from the RN Care Coordinator.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
Monitor resident status and promptly report changes or concerns.
Accurately document services and follow safety, standard precautions, body mechanics, and scope-of-training requirements.
Complete required training.
Assist with scheduling to ensure adequate resident care coverage.
