About The Position

Vista Prairie at Ridgeway, Assisted Living and Memory Care, is hiring a Resident Assistant to provide compassionate, resident-centered care. The role supports residents with personal care, mobility, transfers, and medications while helping maintain their dignity, safety, and comfort. It also involves building positive relationships, responding to residents’ needs, and reporting changes in their conditions to appropriate staff. PM shifts run from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with both full-time and part-time schedules available. Weekend work is required every other weekend.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and carry out directions.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• Training in health-related disciplines and/or relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care with dignity and respect.
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, and other personal care.
• Support residents with mobility and transfers while ensuring safety and comfort.
• Administer or assist with medications according to care plans and training.
• Build positive relationships and create meaningful moments with residents.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and requests.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions to appropriate staff.
