Resident Assistant - Part Time Days - Westwood Ridge
About The Position
At Vivie, Resident Assistants provide hands-on support to residents while fostering meaningful connections and helping residents live each day with dignity, joy, and companionship. The role involves assisting with daily activities, supporting residents’ health and well-being, and helping maintain a safe, comfortable home environment. This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt role in the Nursing department. The schedule is 54.25 hours per pay period, from 6:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., with every other weekend and holiday. The schedule is Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday; Week 2: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. There are no travel requirements or supervisory responsibilities.

Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a caregiver, personal care assistant, or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Minnesota or Wisconsin CNA certification is preferred and may be required for some levels of assisted living.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, and mobility.
- Support residents with meals, restorative care, and life skills while respecting their preferences.
- Encourage residents to participate in social, recreational, and wellness activities.
- Help maintain a clean and comfortable environment through housekeeping, laundry, and organizing resident spaces.
- Prepare, store, and serve meals, beverages, and snacks while promoting a positive dining experience.
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ health or emotional well-being to nursing staff.
- Welcome new residents and help them transition into their new home.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and provide exceptional care.
