About The Position

As a Resident Assistant at Vivie, you will provide hands-on support to residents and foster meaningful connections. You will help residents with daily activities, promote a safe and comfortable environment, and support their dignity, joy, and companionship. This hourly, non-exempt role is part-time and scheduled on a pick-your-own basis, with a minimum of 16 hours per pay period selected from available shifts. The position is in the Nursing department, has no travel requirements, and does not include supervisory responsibilities.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a caregiver, personal care assistant, or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Minnesota or Wisconsin CNA certification is preferred and may be required for some levels of assisted living.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents with meals, restorative care, and life skills while respecting their preferences.
• Encourage residents to participate in social, recreational, and wellness activities.
• Help maintain a clean, comfortable environment through housekeeping, laundry, and organizing resident spaces.
• Prepare, store, and serve meals, beverages, and snacks while promoting a positive dining experience.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ health or emotional well-being to nursing staff.
• Welcome new residents and help them transition into their new home.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and ensure exceptional care.
