About The Position

Heritage Senior Living is seeking compassionate and dependable CNAs and Resident Assistants to provide personalized care and support to residents, helping them maintain independence, dignity, comfort, and quality of life. CNA certification is desirable but not required. The role involves getting to know residents and providing individualized support based on their needs and preferences. Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation; accommodations may be available to qualified individuals with disabilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CNA certification is desirable but not required.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Willingness to complete required CBRF certifications and training.
• Ability to safely use applicable resident transfer and mobility equipment.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• Previous caregiving, assisted living, memory care, or senior living experience.
• CNA certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, dining, and other activities of daily living.
• Provide care according to each resident's Individual Service Plan (ISP).
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers using appropriate equipment and safe practices.
• Complete wellness checks and respond promptly to resident calls and alarms.
• Observe residents for changes in condition or behavior and promptly report concerns.
• Accurately document resident care and services.
• Assist with medications when appropriately trained and delegated.
• Follow resident-rights, infection prevention, and safety requirements.
• Participate in required meetings and training.
• Help maintain a safe, comfortable, and homelike environment.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and coworkers.
