Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the Resident Assistant monitors the safety and well-being of all Safe Haven residents while they are on site. The Resident Assistant ensures that residents comply with program guidelines, assists residents in their daily living activities and documents all services provided. The Resident Assistant is also responsible for reporting all potential and actual crisis situations to their supervisor, clinical support staff (partner agency) and/or appropriate emergency services (i.e., law enforcement, paramedics, firefighter department, etc.).
