About The Position

Vista Prairie at Ridgeway, Assisted Living and Memory Care, is hiring a Resident Assistant to provide compassionate, resident-centered care. The position supports residents with daily personal care, mobility, medication needs, and timely responses to requests, while helping create meaningful moments and positive relationships. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available. The listed schedule is the AM shift, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, including every other weekend.

Requirements

Ability to read, write, and carry out directions.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
Training in health-related disciplines and/or experience.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, resident-centered care with dignity and respect.
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
Support residents with mobility and transfers while ensuring safety and comfort.
Administer or assist with medications according to care plans and training.
Build positive relationships and create meaningful moments with residents.
Respond promptly to resident needs and requests.
Monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions to appropriate staff.

Shift differentials: $1 for PM, $2 for NOC, and $3 for weekend shifts.
Sign-on bonus: $500 for AM, $800 for PM, and $1,000 for NOC shifts; sign-on eligibility requires being scheduled for 40 or more hours per pay period.
