About The Position
At Community First Solutions, Resident Assistants provide direct, person-centered care to residents, supporting their physical, emotional, and social well-being. The role includes helping residents with personal care and daily activities while fostering dignity, independence, belonging, interpersonal relationships, and quality of life. The position is full-time at Berkeley Square, scheduled for three shifts per week from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., with every-other-weekend rotation. Starting pay is $16.00 per hour, based on years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide positive, quality interactions tailored to residents’ individual interests, with a focus on interpersonal relationships and quality of life.
- Assist nurses with managing, treating, and responding to resident care needs.
- Assist residents with daily hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist residents with mobility, including lifting, positioning, and transporting.
- Answer resident calls in a timely manner.
- Assist residents with daily meals and feeding.
- Observe residents and note their physical condition, attitude, reactions, appetite, and other relevant observations; listen to residents and share resident or family concerns and changes in residents’ conditions with a supervisor.
- Come to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrate dependability and punctuality.
