About The Position
Taylor Community is looking for an experienced Resident Assistant to join our Assisted Living team! As a Resident Assistant, you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents by providing compassionate, person-centered care and helping them maintain their health, independence, and quality of life.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to safely assist with resident transfers and emergency evacuations
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to work with older adults
- A valid NH Drivers license
- Criminal background check
- Drug testing

- Previous Resident Assistant or caregiving experience preferred

Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and personal care
- Follow each resident's established plan of care
- Observe and report changes in resident conditions
- Document resident care according to Taylor Community standards
- Encourage socialization and participation in activities
- Assist with laundry and light housekeeping
- Supervise residents with self-administration of medications
